Privacy Policy

Effective date: 9 September 2026 · Version: 2026-09

This Privacy Policy explains how Accurenza Limited collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you use Accurenza websites, applications and related services.

1. Information we collect

We may collect account information such as name, email address and contact details; organisation and subscription information; authentication and security records; support communications; device, browser and service-usage information; and business data that authorised users enter into Accurenza.

2. Why we use information

We process information to create and secure accounts, provide requested software functions, manage subscriptions and entitlements, send transactional communications, provide support, maintain audit and security records, prevent abuse, improve reliability, comply with law and establish or defend legal rights.

3. Legal bases and consent

Depending on the jurisdiction and activity, processing may be necessary to perform a contract, comply with legal obligations, protect legitimate interests, protect users and the service, or act on consent. Where consent is required, it may be withdrawn subject to applicable law and any processing already lawfully completed.

4. Business and accounting data

Customers control the business information they upload or create, including accounting, customer, supplier, employee, inventory and transaction records. Accurenza processes this information to provide the service on the customer's instructions, subject to applicable law and contractual safeguards.

5. Service providers and disclosures

We may use vetted service providers for hosting, databases, storage, email delivery, payments, monitoring, security and other infrastructure. Information is shared only as reasonably necessary for those services, legal compliance, fraud prevention, protection of rights, corporate transactions or where you direct or authorise the disclosure. Accurenza does not sell personal information to advertisers.

6. International data transfers

Accurenza is intended for users in multiple markets. Information may therefore be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, Accurenza uses appropriate contractual, organisational or legal safeguards for international transfers.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical and organisational measures designed to protect information, including access controls, authentication, logging, backups and infrastructure security. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users must also protect credentials and authorised access.

8. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet contractual and legal obligations, maintain security and audit records, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by information type and applicable law.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction on, objection to, or portability of personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Some information may need to be retained for legal, security, accounting or contractual reasons.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

Accurenza may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for login, sessions, security and service functionality, and may use permitted analytics technologies to understand and improve service performance. Where law requires consent for non-essential technologies, appropriate choices will be provided.

11. Children's privacy

Accurenza is a business software service and is not intended for children to create independent business accounts. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children contrary to applicable law.

12. Policy changes

We may update this Policy as the service, law or our practices change. The effective date and version will be shown on this page, and material changes will be communicated by reasonable means where required.

13. Nigeria data protection

For processing subject to Nigerian law, Accurenza applies applicable requirements of the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and other binding data-protection requirements. Users in other jurisdictions may have additional mandatory rights under their local laws.

14. Contact and complaints

Privacy questions, requests or complaints may be submitted through Accurenza's published privacy, support or contact channels. You may also have a right to complain to the competent data-protection authority in your jurisdiction.
