Terms of Service

Effective date: 9 September 2026 · Version: 2026-09

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Accurenza, a business management and accounting software service provided by Accurenza Limited. By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and authority

You must have legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you use Accurenza for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that organisation and to provide the information entered into the service.

2. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate registration information, keep login credentials confidential, and promptly notify Accurenza of suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account by authorised users.

3. The service

Accurenza provides software features for business administration, accounting, reporting, inventory, payroll and other enabled modules. Features may vary by plan, market, configuration and release. Accurenza may improve, replace or discontinue features where reasonably necessary, while taking appropriate steps to avoid material disruption to paid services.

4. Subscriptions, fees and taxes

Paid features are subject to the prices, billing cycle and entitlements shown at purchase or renewal. Applicable taxes, payment-processing requirements and currency rules may vary by country. Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, fees already earned for a billing period are not refundable.

5. Customer data and records

You retain responsibility for the business data and records you enter or import. You grant Accurenza the limited rights necessary to host, process, back up and transmit that data to provide and secure the service. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality and completeness of your records and for retaining any records required by applicable law.

6. Accounting, tax and business decisions

Accurenza is a software tool. Outputs, calculations, reports, automation and guidance do not replace professional accounting, tax, legal, payroll or other advice. You remain responsible for reviewing transactions, filings, reports and business decisions before relying on them.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use the service unlawfully; attempt to gain unauthorised access; interfere with security or availability; introduce malicious code; reverse engineer the service except where law expressly permits it; or use Accurenza to infringe another person's rights.

8. Third-party services

Accurenza may integrate with payment processors, email providers, banks, exchange-rate providers and other third parties. Their services may be governed by separate terms and may experience outages or changes outside Accurenza's reasonable control.

9. Availability and support

Accurenza aims to provide a reliable service but does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Planned maintenance, security events, internet failures and third-party outages may affect availability. Support channels and service levels may depend on the applicable plan.

10. Intellectual property

Accurenza Limited and its licensors retain all rights in the software, branding, documentation and service technology. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your authorised access or subscription.

11. Suspension and termination

Access may be restricted or suspended where reasonably necessary for security, unlawful use, material breach, non-payment or protection of the service and its users. You may stop using the service subject to your subscription commitments. Where appropriate, reasonable opportunity will be given to remedy a breach.

12. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Accurenza Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss caused by inaccurate customer data, unauthorised customer activity or third-party services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Changes to these Terms

Accurenza may update these Terms to reflect legal, security, product or commercial changes. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means and the effective version will be identified on this page.

14. Governing law

Unless mandatory law in your location requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Courts with competent jurisdiction in Nigeria will have jurisdiction, without limiting rights that applicable consumer law cannot waive.

15. Contact

Questions about these Terms may be sent through Accurenza's published support or contact channels.
